About
Beginning at the Pura Gunung Lebah temple at the confluence of two rivers (campuhan means "two rivers meeting" in Balinese), the Campuhan Ridge Walk follows a narrow paved path along a jungle ridge for approximately 4.5 km one-way before looping back or continuing to the village of Bangkiang Sidem.
The trail passes through tall grass, coconut palms and jungle vegetation, with the Wos River valleys visible on either side. The views are consistently beautiful. Go before 8am to experience it in cool temperatures and soft morning light with relatively few other walkers. By 10am the heat and crowds make it significantly less pleasant. The path is clearly marked and no guide is necessary.
